The Cleanroom Association of Serbia – CLAS has obtained approval to translate the book “Cleanroom Technology – Fundamentals of Design, Testing and Operation” by William Whyte into Serbian.
This translation represents a significant milestone for the professional community in Serbia, given the near absence of relevant literature on cleanroom technology and contamination control in the Serbian language. This project reflects CLAS’s commitment to one of its core objectives – ensuring access to professional literature and advancing knowledge in this field in the local language.
The book is a leading reference in the field of cleanroom technology, intended both for professionals looking to expand their expertise and for those encountering the subject for the first time. The third edition has been substantially expanded and updated to reflect the latest developments in the field.
About the Author
William (Bill) Whyte is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. He holds qualifications in microbiology (BSc) and mechanical engineering (DSc). He has been studying cleanrooms for over 50 years and is an internationally acknowledged expert in cleanroom technology.
He has published over 150 reports and papers on contamination control and cleanroom design, and has authored several books on cleanroom technology. He is a member of British and ISO standards committees for cleanroom standards and has extensive experience as a lecturer and industrial consultant.
